The hike leads from Schluderbach along the old military road from the First World War up to Prato Piazza, a high plateau at 2,000m above sea level with a breathtaking view of the Hohe Gaisl and the Cristallo, Dolomites Unesco World Heritage Site.
Refreshment stop. Difficulty: medium. Time: 8.30 pm.-4.00 pm. Walking time: in ascent 2,5 hours. Altitude difference: 556m. Meeting point: 8.30 am. at the bus stop Rienz (opposite Bar Parkcafé) in the Via Stazione in Monguelfo. Costs: 15€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 25€ without Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido.
