Rasun Nuova Castle

Rasun Nuova Castle in Rasun di Sopra was built by the Lords of Rasun around the year 1200, just like Rasun Vecchia Castle. The castle walls have been entirely restored and can still be visited today.

Starting at the Pfaffinger farms in Rasun di Sotto, Rasun Nuova Castle can be reached following the white-blue signposts to the "Jagdhaus". Continue until you reach a chapel, from where trail no. 1 leads you up to the ruin of Rasun Nuova Castle.
