Rasun Nuova Castle

Rasun Nuova Castle in Rasun di Sopra was built by the Lords of Rasun around 1200, just like Rasun Vecchia Castle. The castle walls have been entirely restored and are still visible today.

Starting at the Pfaffinger farms in Rasun di Sotto, Rasun Nuova Castle can be reached in a 1.5 hours walk following the white-blue signposts to the "Jagdhaus". Continue until you reach a chapel, from where trail no. 1 leads you up to the ruin of Rasun Nuova Castle.
