The marvellous, unspoilt nature of the Val Pusteria attracts several visitors every year

Thanks to a wide range of leisure activities and its unequalled nature, the Val Pusteria is a renowned holiday destination. The valley is delimited by the Alpine Divide in the north and the Dolomites in the south. The most important protected areas are the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina, Sesto Dolomites and Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature parks, as well as the Alti Tauri national park with their impressive flora and fauna. Natural gems you should definitely not miss are the Lago di Braies and the Lago di Anterselva.
