The only bathing lake in East Tyrol, Lake Tristach, lies in a very beautiful position at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites. It is a very popular family destination, since children can have a lot of fun in the water, on rubber boats, air mattresses and on the near playing ground. Lake Tristach lies only 4 km away from Lienz.
Swimming in the lake, relaxing at its shores under the shady trees, beach volleyball or a refreshing drink at the terrace of the café… you certainly won’t be bored at Lake Tristach! The car parking space near the lake is subject to charge during the peak season. However, you can also take the free shuttle from Lienz.
