Pine oil distillery and Bergila Herb Garden

In Issengo, next to Lake Issengo and the High-rope course Kronaction, there is a company specialised in herbs and essential oils such as pine oil. This family-run business exists since 1912 and is called Bergila. Among the wide range of different plants growing here you can find arnica, which alleviates muscle sprains and contusions and amber, a powerful mood booster. Bergila also offers tinctures and essential oils for various aches and pains.

The organic herbs, flowers and grasses of the Bergila Herb Garden surrounding the farm are cultivated according to the moon calendar. Take a moment to admire their beautiful colours and breathe deeply to soak in their unique scents. The herbs are distilled in spring water and worked manually so as to produce many different essential oils.

We recommend you to visit also the pine oil distillery which is only a stone's throw away from the Herb Garden. For the production of pine oil mountain pine and juniper of the immediate surroundings are used, with the focus always being on obtaining high-end products rather than a huge quantity of them. The facility regularly organises different courses.
