Every year, around the middle of January, at the traditional Dolomiti Balloonweek in Dobbiaco you have the possibility to see the Val Pusteria and its surroundings from the bird's eye view.
During these days, Dobbiaco transforms itself into a big “hot-air balloon village”. The festival offers a lot: sightseeing flights, competitions, music, eating and drinking and children animation. The highlight of every year, however, is the night flight high above the roofs of the Val Pusteria.
