Also in the Alta Pusteria valley in East Tyrol, you can play golf in a fabulous setting: Lavant offers one of the most beautiful championship golf courses of Austria with 36 holes. The golf course is called "Dolomitengolf“ and is almost flat.
Embedded in the beautiful landscape of the Dolomites of Lienz, it is a real feast for the eyes to play golf on this course, surrounded by biotopes and meadows, offering two 18-hole course variants. The combination of the four 9-hole golf courses results in an attractive variant for experts. Roofed and open tees, sand bunker, chipping greens and putting greens complete the offer.
The Dolomitengolf school offers courses for beginners and advanced players. The golf academy was newly established in 2005 and has meanwhile become one of the most professional and successful golf schools of Austria.
From the beginning of April to the end of October the golf club is open and playable.
