The valley of Anterselva is the most important centre for biathlon in South Tyrol and very famous also beyond its boarders.
In fact, it hosts many international biathlon competitions. In 2007 and in 2020, the world championships were held in Anterselva. And in 2026, the biathlon races of the Olympic Games will take place here.
Every year in January, Anterselva hosts the Biathlon world cup, offering not only spectacular races, but also a thrilling supporting programme in the village of Anterselva di Mezzo.
