The Zettersfeld ski resort is renowned as a particularly family-friendly ski area, with a total of 6 lifts providing access to the slopes.
Zettersfeld, Lienz's sunny plateau, predominantly features easy and intermediate slopes. More experienced skiers and snowboarders can look forward to off-piste descents and mogul slopes. There's also a fun park for snowboarders to enjoy.
While in recent years Lienz's local mountain, the Hochstein, was also part of the Lienz Cable Cars offering, its lifts are not operating during the 2024/25 winter season.
By the way: With the "SKI)HIT" ski pass, you can choose between roughly 400 km of slopes across eight ski resorts: Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei, St. Jakob im Defereggental Ski Centre, Zettersfeld Lienz, Sillian Hochpustertal Ski Centre, Golzentipp Ski Resort, Kartitsch, Virgen/Prägraten and, for a small surcharge, the Mölltaler Glacier and the Ankogel (3,252 m above sea level).
Altitude: 1,660 - 2,278 m above sea level
Ski slopes: 22.6 km (8 km easy / 11.5 km intermediate / 1.5 km difficult / 1.6 km ski routes)
