The landmark of San Paolo, located at 865 m a.s.l. between Villa and Rio di Pusteria, is the St. Paul Church.
With its almost 100 inhabitants, San Paolo can look back on a long history. The church was already mentioned in the 14th century, the first farms may be much older. The little village is conveniently located – Rio di Pusteria and thus the connection to the Val Pusteria Train and the Val Pusteria Road, is situated only 2 km far away from San Paolo.
