The group of farmhouses called Spissa is located between 800 and 1,000 m a.s.l. and has about 80 inhabitants today. It is the most southern settlement of the municipality of Rodengo. A connecting road from Chivo to Spissa exists, on foot also the main village of Rodengo, Villa, is accessible along the Bienenweg path.
A circular walk through the Rienz Gorge to Fiumes in the municipality of Naz-Sciaves or a mountain hike to the Rodengo Alpine Pasture can be started directly at Spissa. Spissa is agrarian-oriented and impresses with its quiet panoramic position.
