Plata is a mountain village that belongs to Falzes and is located at 1,575 m a.s.l. It can be reached via a mountain road from the centre of Falzes, that is lined by ancient farmsteads composing the village of Plata.

Plata has got some 50 inhabitants and is an ideal starting point for hikes at the lower mountain range above the sun terrace of Falzes. At the Bärental farm you can start your walks to the Cima Bärental. Moreover you can do walks along the Alta Via of Fundres, along which you can reach the Cima Plata or the Monte Sommo.

However, if you prefer more pleasant walks we recommend you the circular route "Steine erzählen". Be that as it may, if you seek relaxation in the countryside and off the touristic strongholds, Plata is the right place for you.
