Perca is the main village of the municipality and is situated at 970 m a.s.l. on a plateau, which delimits the valley basin of Brunico towards east. Perca is located about 5 km in the east of the city of Brunico and stretches in the north of the chief town of the Val Pusteria valley.
Perca is located along the cycle track of the Val Pusteria and ideal for a pleasant tour with the whole family. Mountain bikers, however, can face the ascent towards Montassilone on the hardly trafficked mountain road. In the village itself, we recommend you to visit the parish chuch constructed in late-Gothic style, consecrated to S. Cassiano. Plenty of Habsburg emblems adorn the ribbed vault of this church.
By the way: Directing the view towards south-east, you can admire some Dolomite peaks, such as the Croda del Becco and the Baranci mountain range.
