The villages of Vila di Sotto and Rio Liccio are only a stone’s throw from the Val Pusteria cycle path

Vila di Sotto has about 200 inhabitants and is situated at an altitude of 950 m a.s.l. Just like the villages of Plata, Sopranessano, Rio Liccio and Nessano, also Vila di Sotto is characterised by agriculture and forestry.
The hamlet stretches from the Val Pusteria road to the Rienza gorge near the Val Pusteria cycle path which is a true paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Rio Liccio, a small hamlet east of Vila di Sotto is home to about 30 inhabitants and an excellent starting point for excursions to the so-called "Greiterstöckl" or to Novale.
