Proceeding from Anterselva di Sotto towards the lake Anterselva, you reach the village of Anterselva di Mezzo at 1,236 m a.s.l. Inhabited by 700 people, it is the largest village in the valley.
The spicy mountain air is already perceivable in the valley. If you would like to reach higher realms, we recommend you to make a side-trip to the Außerweger pasture, the Klammbach waterfall, the Kumpflalm or the Grente Alm. Along the so-called „Franzosensteig“ (trail of the Frenchmen) you can walk towards Rasun di Sotto at the entrance of the valley.
Anterselva di Mezzo also boasts a ski lift, that is to say the Riepenlift, which is a 1.6 km long slopes with a drop of 380 m, ideal for making the first passes on snow. If you wish for more diversity, we recommend you to visit the Plan de Corones with its 105 km of ski slopes, only a stone's throw away.
