Description
In the middle of untouched nature at 1,500 meters above sea level near the Passo delle Erbe, a new holiday nest has been created for all those looking for peace and quiet. We are all about hay, hence our name "La Majun": Ladin for "barn".
The modern and stylishly furnished apartments in the hay barn give a homely charm. The scent of hay flowers ensures your well-being here: the walls are made of Tyrolean hay.
Enjoy the unique nature that surrounds our house on fabulous hikes, spectacular climbing and mountain bike tours and explore the wildlife on our farm. After an eventful day, end the evening in our Finnish sauna with herbal scent.

Terms of payment
Rates are per apartment per day, with a minimum stay of 3 nights. A one-off supplement applies for shorter stays.
Minimum occupancy in the high season is four guests; a supplement of €20 per night applies for each additional guest.
Rates do not include the local tourist tax of €1.65 per person per day (for guests aged 14 and over). On arrival, you will receive a complimentary HolidayPass tourist card.
Linen, towels, electricity and heating fees, and the final cleaning service are also included in the booking price, as is use of our sauna. Children’s equipment (cots and high chairs) can be provided on request. The laundry service is available for a fee.
On the premises, we only accept payment in cash or by credit card. The nearest ATM is 13 km away. If you prefer, you are welcome to pay in advance by bank transfer.
Deposit
To confirm the booking we require a deposit, the amount of which depends on the duration of your stay.
Cancellation policy
Although the Italian Consumer Code does not provide for a right of withdrawal, we allow for cancellation according to the following terms:
For cancellations made more than 3 months before arrival, only the deposit is withheld
For cancellations made between 3 months and 4 weeks before arrival, 50% of the booking price is charged
For cancellations made within 4 weeks of arrival, 100% of the booking price is charged
Cancellation fees, if any, will be deducted from the deposit
Please refer to art. 45-67 of the Italian Consumer Code (law 206/2005).
Check-in and check-out
The apartments are available from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 9.30 a.m. on the day of departure.
During the high season, arrival on Saturdays is preferred.
The local snow ploughing and gritting service is very efficient, but please be aware that winter equipment is mandatory nevertheless.
HolidayPass
When you check in, you will receive a complimentary HolidayPass, a tourist card that allows you to use all public transport in South Tyrol (buses, city buses, regional trains, selected lift facilities) as well as the ski buses in the Val Badia and Val Pusteria valleys free of charge. Please note: you will need to validate your HolidayPass before every trip.
Parking and transfer service
If you are arriving by train, we will be delighted to arrange a transfer to and from Brunico train station. Free parking is available in the farm’s garage for guests travelling by car or motorbike.
Travel cancellation insurance
Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances can get in the way of even the best-planned holiday. This is why we recommend taking out the Roter Hahn travel cancellation insurance, which covers cancellation-related fees. Click here to insure your holiday.
Sports and leisure services
The farm’s ski depot, which has a ski boot dryer, and the bike parking area and washing station are at your disposal. You can borrow our hiking poles and snowshoes for your days out, and you are welcome to use our outdoor barbecue.
Farmer’s breakfast & bread service
On request, we will be delighted to serve you a tasty breakfast with our homemade products and other local produce. If you only need fresh bread for your breakfast, you can have it delivered.

Personal items
By wearing house shoes, you will help us keep our wood floors in good condition. Please remember to pack your slippers!
Bringing your own spa slippers will allow you to relax in our sauna while also protecting the environment.
